1. Connect with our slide designer

• As soon as you have a solid outline for your talk and a selection of images and graphs you want to use in your talk, we will connect you to our design consultant, who will help you think about your slides. While our slide consultant does not make your slides for you, she can certainly guide you in the process of conceiving of your slides, finding stock images and helping your slides be as legible and impactful as possible. Remember: not all talks need slides. Only use them if they will augment your talk.

2. Drafts 2-3 of your talk

• You will be meeting with the Fellows team every two weeks to check in about the latest draft of your talk. Fellows typically go through drafts 2-3 of your talk before landing on their final talk, so editing, revising and rewriting is totally normal. And don’t wait until the last minute to do your slides!
