1. Fill out the new Fellows survey
As soon as you accept your fellowship, you will receive a survey via email asking you for important information – including your contact information, social media accounts and more details about your work. Please spend time on this survey and complete it by the date indicated. This information will help us prepare for your time at the conference.
2. Edit and approve your bio and nugget title
After you’re accepted, we will send you your official Fellows bio and nugget title to share in our new class announcement and press release. (For example, here’s the 2018 announcement.) Please note, these are meant to be short and succinct. Please let us know if you strongly dislike them, if they’re inaccurate or if there are spelling errors.
3. Send us your best photos
Please send us a clear headshot as well as the best high-resolution photos you have of your work. These photos could be a shot of you in the field, or it could be a photo of your work itself. These will be featured on various TED platforms and in the conference program guide. As a reminder, you must either own the rights to the photos you send us or have permission to share them. You’ll receive a personal upload link from fellows@ted.com.
4. Sign the Fellowship agreement
As soon as you are accepted, you will need to sign the TED Fellows agreement that the Program Manager will send you. Please let us know if you have any questions.
